AC/DC legend Brian Johnson has been making music in the studio with Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh. The long-term friends joined musical forces in London yesterday following the Eagles’ epic sold-out show at London Wembley Stadium on Sunday night (23rd June).

Joe took to his social media channels to post a photo of himself with Brian Johnson, writing: “Great day making music with my old pal Brian today in London. We nailed it! Love ya man!”

No further details of the musical collaboration have been revealed, however fans have speculated that it could be a recording of an impromptu song they made when Walsh featured in an episode of Brian’s TV series ‘A Life on the Road’ earlier this year.

The fifth episode of the second series of the Sky Arts show saw Joe and Brian hastily put together a song about life on the road while sat in the back of a limousine.

Eagles continue their six-date UK tour at Manchester Arena tomorrow night (26th June) before taking in shows in Birmingham, Liverpool, Leeds and Glasgow.

Back in January, Brian Johnson seemingly confirmed that he’s back in the AC/DC fold and is recording a new album with the legendary hard rock band.

In a Facebook post, grindcore band Terrorizer revealed that Brian let the cat out of the bag when met him at an airport.

They wrote: “We ran into Brian Johnson from AC/DC at the airport today after the flight home and we asked him about the rumours of him being on the new AC/DC album and he said ‘yes’ and that he is ‘sick of denying it.’ So that was a cool surprise ending to the tour.”

In April, a source close to the band told US radio presenter Eddie Trunk that AC/DC are “absolutely” going to tour again with Brian Johnson.

Trunk said: “I think it’s pretty much a done deal that AC/DC, at the very least, are going to release some sort of record and it’ll be some sort of tribute to Malcolm Young, just like Back In Black was a tribute to Bon [Scott].

“So I have no doubt about that and I’m pretty confident they’re probably going to do shows as well, but I think at this point it’s pretty much just when they announce it.”

Brian, of course, was forced to quit the final two legs of AC/DC’s Rock of Bust Tour in 2016 when doctors ordered him to stop touring or risk going deaf.
