Richmond Virginia’s Municipal Waste released their sixth studio album Slime And Punishment to rave reviews in 2017, and have been busy kicking ass ever since – the guys have been wrecking stages in countless countries across the globe with their killer live show. Today the band have another string to add to their bow; they’re pleased to announce a 16 date European and UK tour this winter, with support lined up from Toxic Holocaust, label mates Enforcer and Skeletal Remains.

Tony Foresta from Municipal Waste commented: “Many Christmases ago, I went to buy a doll for my son. I reached for the last one they had, but so did another man. As I rained blows upon, I realised there had to be another way. This tour will hopefully bring forth a new kind of winter cheer. Something for the rest of us.

And Olof Wikstrand from Enforcer added: The pioneers of old school thrash metal and the pioneers of old school heavy metal unite in one tour. We are super stoked to bring together the kings of the underground.6c478147-eb10-4587-bae1-ccb9d92524f1.jpgSlime And Punishment is the first Waste album engineered by bassist Phil “Landphil” Hall at Blaze of Torment Studios in Richmond, VA. Mixing and mastering was completed by Bill Metoyer (SlayerW.A.S.P.Lizzy BordenDark Angel etc.) in Hollywood, CA.

Swedish metallers Enforcer released their highly-anticipated fifth studio album Zenithvia Nuclear Blast earlier this year. Zenith contains 10 brand new anthems, bringing not only classic tunes, but also fresh blood to the band’s unique sound. In addition, guitarist Jonathan Nordwall debuted as a new permanent member. Vocalist Olof Wikstrand commented on the new record, Zenith is definitely the most ambitious project we ever engaged ourselves in. I think all together we spent over two and a half years to write, produce and record it all. Beware the ‘Zenith Of The Black Sun‘.”  Zenith was produced by the band themselves, with drums recorded at Soundtrade Studios, Stockholm and the rest of the tracking was completed at Hvergelmer Studios, Arvika.
