The Frontiers Music label continues to expand its metal roster with the signing of Rising Steel, a rising heavy metal band from Grenoble, France. The quintet delivers a ‘not so’ classical heavy metal sound with influences coming mainly from the 1980’s NWOBHM, hard rock and thrash metal scenes.
Performing solid and powerful music, the band is inspired by legends such as Judas Priest and Iron Maiden and is recommended for fans with a diverse taste in metal who like bands ranging from early Metallica, Accept, Saxon, Grand Magus, Nevermore and Slayer.
Following the release of their 2014 ‘Warlord’ EP and debut album ‘Return Of The Warlord’ (2016), Rising Steel shared stages with acts like Jaded Heart, Sister Sin, Nightmare, Nashville Pussy, ADX and Annihilator, which exposed them to a larger international audience.

Now, following three years of gigging and writing new material, the band is ready to kick ass with their new album, ‘Fight Them All’, which is due for release via Frontiers in the Spring of 2020.
The band recorded the album in Sweden, with the production duo of Rickard Bengsston and Staffan Karlsson giving the music an approach closer to the unique and varied Swedish metal sounds of Arch Enemy, Shining, Spiritual Beggars and Grand Magus). The album was mastered by Mika Jussila at Finnvox studios in Finland.

The band state: ”We gave our best to keep our influences in this recording, keeping the true Heavy Metal spirit, but this time we tried our best to strengthen our sound with darker influences and go a bit beyond the classic boundaries of this style.
This new album is a big step forward for the band, and signing with the Frontiers label is, for us, a true recognition. A dream-come-true story to be continued soon!”
Anyone looking for explosive riffing and crushing sounds is advised to check out the upcoming record.
