Hellz – ‘Rot’

Lisa Perry, a.k.a. Hellz, is upset and while your first instinct is to get out of the way, you find yourself rooted to the spot, about to get eviscerated.

Rot’ is a snarling beast, full of venom and melodic aggression, its strident rocking attack giving no quarter. The guitars are brutal, the double bass drum loosens the fillings from your teeth and Hellz vocals capturing the sort of slightly unhinged quality of what you’d imagine Harley Quinn fronting a metal band would sound like.

You can feel the creeping tendrils of insanity slithering out from the speakers. Never was getting disemboweled so much fun.
