Anthemic hard rock act, AUSTIN GOLD, release a new single, HERE TO STAY on Fri 03 July 2020.
The song is taken from their self-titled mini-album, AUSTIN GOLD, which was released in July 2019 on Jig-Saw Music.
The single is accompanied by a new video featuring live footage of their mainstage appearance at Ramblin Man Fair last summer. It was filmed by Paul England and the video edited by TMR, check it out below.

Mainman, David James Smith, explains, “With the music industry so badly affected by the Convid-19 pandemic, it was great reviewing the footage we shot at Ramblin Man Fair last summer. We played the hangover slot on Sunday morning but the sun was out and the crowd were ready to rock with us. We can’t wait for the return of those good times.”
David continued, “When writing Here to Stay I distinctly remember wanting to write a straightforward drop-tuned track to rip out live. When recording we needed big drums, big guitars and a shed load of Hammond. It called for my Gibson Firebird through a Mesa Boogie and vintage Marshall Plexi. But for the intro I played through a tiny amp and recorded it in the bathroom of the studio to get that lo-fi sound!”
Following two strong studio releases, tours with King King and Gun and a main stage appearance at Ramblin’ Man Festival, AUSTIN GOLD are causing a stir.
The band of David James Smith (vocals & guitar), Lee Churchill (bass), Russell Hill (keyboards) and Chris Ogden (drums), have been building a reputation as one of the best live acts around.
Their melting pot of influences come together to create something that is really very special. From heavy guitar riffs, to the most delicate heart-felt ballads; from atmospheric sonic landscapes, to hook-driven melodies; this is a band that deserves to be heard.
