Formed in early 2016 along the gulf coast of Alabama, Oracle sought out to create a unique environment of an eclectic band of hard working and dedicated musicians. The band was rapidly sculpted down into a three-piece project comprised of a father/son duo, Ray Ozinga (bass), Trey Ozinga (drums) and longtime fellow area musician Jason Long (vocals and guitar).
The three founding members of Oracle set out to create music with driving, epic, and creative aspects that is derived from many styles of metal including death, thrash, groove, melodic, black, and nu-metal.
To date, the band has released four full-length albums and one EP. With each new album, the goals vary. Now the band wants to deliver a more broad and open field of depth and creativity. To bring the listener new and exciting angles of the heavy metal world while keeping the music easily digestible and powerful is the primary concern of Oracle.
Partnering up with Pavement Entertainment, Oracle is proud to release their latest installment, Hindsight 2020. Look for the new album everywhere on June 12, 2020.
