Within Temptation is a Dutch symphonic metal band founded in April 1996 by vocalist Sharon den Adel and guitarist Robert Westerholt, but it was not until 2001 that they got their breakthrough when their single ‘Ice Queen’ reached number 2 in the Dutch charts.
Fast forward to 2020 and dates were booked for a European Tour with Evanescence only for Covid-19 to scupper the plans and cause the tour to be postponed to 2021. However, the band decided to still go ahead with the release of their first new music since last years album, ‘Resist’.

The result is ‘Entertain You’, a thumping metal track which opens with producer Daniel Gibson guesting on vocals before the tempo drops to give us the first listen of Sharon Den Adel’s angelic tones, before the band kick in and give us both barrels.
The track ebbs and flows throughout and is an excellent piece of symphonic metal, which fans of the band will really appreciate and is accompanied by a black and white, industrial themed video.
