The HU are Mongolia’s biggest rock band; their debut album The Gereg reached #21 in the UK charts, and they’ve just announced a deluxe version of the album, coming on 10th July.
The deluxe album contains 3 tracks remade with special guests Jacoby Shaddix (Papa Roach), Danny Case (From Ashes To New) and Lzzy Hale (Halestorm), plus 3 acoustic tracks.[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sv29DzgiXZA&w=560&h=315]
They’ve received support from Elton John and sold out 3-months’ worth of tour dates around the world. Musically they’re a mesh of metal and Mongolian throat singing but have become a worldwide viral sensation with their videos having millions of views.
The HU had major live show success in the UK earlier this year, before their tour was cut short by Coronavirus, causing them to become stranded in Australia for weeks.
Whilst stuck in Sydney away from their families during a global pandemic, the band got into the studio and started work on album 2. Fortunately, The HU are now home and are isolating with their families.
