Don Dokken is a legend in the world of rock music and rightly so as his career has spanned 5 decades and he is showing no signs of slowing up. The band that carries his name has seen numerous changes over the years and has had a relatively small output of only 11 studio albums during that time but with their latest release, Dokken give their fans the chance to hear those very early recordings of a band destined for greatness.

‘The Lost Songs 1978-1981’ is a collection of tracks from the earliest days of the band when they were starting out in the world of rock n roll and from that album comes the second single & video release, ‘No Answer’ and this is a solid no nonsense rock track.

There’s a great melody running through the track with Dokken’s vocals strong and perfectly suited to the music, some nice guitar added for good measure and a great early eighties vibe in the video.

The single along with the album will serve to keep the legions of fans happy during these strange days and will enable the loyal masses to fill the gap of early recordings in their collection.

It might also turn a few heads and get those rock fans who have never quite got Dokken to listen in and see what they have been missing.
