Canadian band Unleash the Archers blend traditional heavy metal, power metal and melodic death metal to give us a sound that stands them apart in todays crowded rock landscape. Formed in late 2007, the band are set to release their fifth album, Abyss, in August 2020 and the second single release from that album is ‘Soulbound’.

Now if you like your rock “short, fast and catchy and never lets up” then this is the for you according to frontwoman Brittney Slayes, as this is played at full tilt from start to finish, with a thumping drum beat starting us off before it’s joined by the guitars and Slayes powerful vocals.

This needs to be played loud, preferably with the windows at home or in the car wide open to ensure anyone close by can enjoy it as well! They will thank you for it later.

When you have the coolest band name in rock music, you need to live up to it and this is a great track that does just that. Check out the video on YouTube as well.
