All gigs and festivals have been hit hard this year, Download has had to take a break forced by the Coronavirus Pandemic, however, next year it is back and with a massive line-up! Just announced for 2021, Download Festival will be welcoming more than 70 acts across the weekend of 4th – 6th June.

Taking place on the sacred grounds of Donington Park, Download will return with headline acts KISS, Biffy Clyro and System of a Down, along with the likes of Deftones, Korn, The Distillers and Steel Panther.

Other acts announced include: A Day To Remember, Mastodon, Control The Storm, Gender Roles, Jamie Lenman, Myles Kennedy & Company and The Pretty Reckless.

In what will be a UK Exclusive, the legendary KISS will be taking to the stage after embarking on their final ever tour in 2019. Known for their larger-than-life performances and iconic live shows, KISS were due to give their final Download appearance this year, but instead will be returning to the festival in 2021.

System of a Down, who were due to perform at the 2020 festival, will also play another UK Exclusive. They can’t wait to arrive at Donington Park, with bassist Shavo Odadjian saying, “We’re disappointed we weren’t able to make it over this year, but we’re looking forward to next.

“Absence makes the heart grow fonder. Mostly, we all just want to make sure everyone is provided with a safe and secure environment, so we were prepared to wait as long as we needed to.”

The third headliner to be announced for the jampacked weekend is Scottish rock titans Biffy Clyro, who will be returning after their 2017 headline set. The band are set to perform some new tracks from their upcoming ninth album, ‘A Celebration of Endings’.
