It’s what fans have been waiting for and finally, after nine years of shows together, Queen + Adam Lambert have announced a new live album to be released at the start of October this year.

‘Live Around the World’ follows the band as they rock the globe, cherry picking footage from some of the 218 concerts the group have played since the ex American Idol joined their ranks.

From shows as diverse as the Isle of Wight Festival, Rock in Rio, Japan’s Summer Sonic and beyond, the set goes to prove once and for all why Lambert was the perfect man to join Roger Taylor and Brian May as they took Queen out to entertain the hundreds of thousands who turned out for the concert tours.

An electrifying live act, with some of the greatest material since the Beatles, Queen have been untouchable for their sense of spectacle and grandness since forming five decades ago and this latest line-up has without doubt stoked to a roaring flame the fire the legendary band hold so high, aided by the Oscar winning ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ and the recent ‘Queen + Adam Lambert – The Show Must Go On’ documentary.

The set is available in a number of formats and includes their most recent gig at the Fire Fight Australia benefit earlier on this year. A special occasion that saw Queen + Adam Lambert reproducing their iconic Live Aid set from thirty five years earlier, this particular concert was one where old and new came together in perfect symmetry as an act of celebration for the past but also very much rejoicing in the present.

With their ‘Rhapsody’ tour on hold until 2021 there’s never been a better way to blow away those post Summer blues than to sit down and feast your senses on a show that only Queen can put on. They are, and always will be, the Champions.

Queen + Adam Lambert ‘Live Around The World’ will be available on CD, CD/DVD, CD/Blu Ray, vinyl, digitally and streaming platforms from 2nd October, 2020
