With the class and swagger of bluesy early 80’s Whitesnake at their finest, ‘Ain’t Goin’ Down Alone’ shows just how damn good FM six stringer Jim Kirkpatrick is.

Whilst securely anchored in that golden age, there’s most certainly a wonderful modern sheen that lifts this out of any mere run down memory lane that will only appeal for those longing for those nostalgic and heady days.

Blessed with a fine set of pipes and a quicksilver touch on the guitar, this oozes soul and the solo melts away the blues effortlessly. Superb writing and outstanding playing, this is most certainly blues you’ll want to get
