Rising rock outfit Piston follow the announcement that their UK tour as special guests of Bad Touch has been rescheduled for April 2021, with the release their new single ‘Let Us Rise’.

The band consists of 4 members from the Midlands with frontman Rob Angelico hailing from the South  resulting in a rock ‘n’ roll band with a big sound and the last 12 months has seen the band’s reputation soar.

They released their debut album to rave reviews in September 2019, appeared as special guests to legends The Cult and Glenn Hughes, co-headlined on tour with fellow rising band Collateral, toured with Phil Campbell & The Bastard Sons and Jack Edwards and Luke Allatt were nominated for ‘Best New Guitarist’ by Music Radar.

Let Us Rise’ has been completely re-mixed and mastered from the album resulting in a much bigger sound than the album version. It starts out with a short Jack Edwards guitar intro, before Brad Newlands comes in with a thumping drum beat accompanied by Angelico’s vocal, with the entire band kicking up a gear to give us a thumping rock track, that is sure to become a band anthem and fan favourite at gigs.

Every member of the band gives their all from Angelico’s strong vocal, Edwards and Allatt’s grinding guitars and Egan and Newlands in the rhythm section – this is Piston doing what they do best – rocking the place to it’s core!

Piston are riding the crest of a wave at the moment and lockdown does not seem to have slowed them down. With ‘Let Us Rise’ they have just reminded us what a great British rock ‘n’ roll band sounds like.

‘Let Us Rise was released on 14th August 2020 and is available on all digital music platforms including Spotify, iTunes and Apple Music.
