We knew it was coming…or rather, we hoped it was coming. After months of rumours and whispers from the great and the good, the signs started appearing, ending a wait of four long years.
At first teased with a new lightning bolt that flashed away on their website and social media, today saw the confirmation that AC/DC, the World’s greatest rock ‘n’ roll band, are back.

Ever since the last note faded on the ‘Rock or Bust’ tour the questions have been asked and now we know who, when and (probably) what the brand new album is going to be called.
No-one was sure if we’d see the Titans of Boogie again but today’s announcement has seen millions rejoicing all around the globe as a picture of the quintet appeared with the stencilled letters PWR UP above them.
It’s not been an easy few years with Malcolm Young’s sad passing, Brian Johnson having to step down from the band due to potential permanent hearing loss, Phil Rudd’s problems with the law and Cliff Williams retiring.
Such a catalogue of events would have finished other bands but the granite like resolve of Angus Young has brought them through this and they’re seemingly raring to get back in the saddle.
The perennially schoolboy-outfitted guitarist has seen Johnson, Rudd and Williams welcomed back in the fold, joining him and Stevie Young to do what the band does best: rock the house down.
