Review by Paul Monkhouse for MPM

Ever wondered what happens when you take one of the best Symphonic Rock singers in Europe and get her to sing one of the biggest Disney earworms of the past forty years from a globally conquering film?

Wonder no more as, just in time to get you in the mood for the holiday season, Nightwish’s Floor Jansen tackles ‘Frozen’s monster anthem here.

Inspired by the almost constant rotation of the cartoon as she watched with her young daughter, Jansen got together with Oscar Flaring from The Fouxes to bring together the family friendly barnstormer with a heavier edge that may just build a bridge between the two camps.

Whilst everyone loves a film from the House of Mouse, who knows, this may encourage some traffic the other way with young fans of Elsa and company joining the moshpits for some high decibel entertainment.

Having said that, it’s probably best if Olaf avoids Rammstein shows as snow and that much pyro heat may not be the best mix.
