Review by Paul Monkhouse for MPM
You hear people balk anytime that something to do with charity or politics is linked with musicians, but that would be to trivialize both their art and them as individuals.
Whilst not touching on politics, Tin Pan Alley is a project by Quireboys / Down ‘N’ Outz six stringer Paul Guerin to raise much needed and appreciated funds for the NHS and this release is the first in a series that is bound to shine.
Teaming up with singer/songwriter Kyle John Suckling, ‘Medicine Man’ is a wonderfully helter skeltering feelgood acoustic rocker that’s packed with atmosphere and soul. Great song, great performance, great cause: what’s not to love?
