This will break your heart. The debut single from Wolfgang Van Halen is a stunning tribute to his late, world changing father, Eddie and is an absolutely unforgettable way to launch his solo career.

Brilliantly constructed and performed, ‘Distance’ is about as good as it gets and you can tell that he’s poured every single ounce of heart into its production.

The lyrics are an open letter of love and a promise to carry on the flame from a relationship that shaped the two men’s lives, always striving for heights that few attain.

Never maudlin, the acoustic driven track lifts rather than getting mired in the terrible loss and is a celebration of the bond the two shared.

Accompanied by a video full of home footage, Wolfgang gives a glimpse of the man behind the music and shows how one of the greatest guitarists ever to walk the Earth was like in some of his unguarded and happiest moments.

Listening to ‘Distance’ you just know for certain how proud Eddie would have been and that’s about as good as things get. Incredibly powerful and poignant.

Proceeds from “Distance” will be donated to Pop’s favorite charity, Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation MHOpus.org https://found.ee/MammothWVH https://www.Facebook.com/MammothWVH https://www.Instagram.com/MammothWVH https://www.Twitter.com/MammothWVH
