Review by Paul Monkhouse for MPM
Never ones to let the grass grow under their feet, The Swamp Born Assassins strike out from their base North of the Border to bring us another steaming slab of finger lickin’ goodness.
It opens like Deep Purple but soon finds itself waist deep in the down and dust strewn Southern Rock territory they know and love, whipping up a batch of musical moonshine that’ll make you go blind.
Keys and guitars dual as the vocals dance in ever more wild movement, the air so sinister that it screams of American Gothic, Everglades style. Beware, they’re coming to get you.
