The Dutch symphonic metal giants once more stamp their dominance on the European scene with this second single from their, as yet untitled, eighth studio album.
A huge blast of skyscraping epic rock, the guitars, keys, drums and bass climb and interweave into an ever more thrilling tapestry as Sharon den Adel’s vocals ring out with an urgency that sweeps you away in a breathless rush.
Listening to this, you can imagine just how Lois Lane felt as Superman held her tightly, taking her flying ever faster and higher over the blurred landscapes below, never more alive or exhilarated. File under ‘triumphant’.
