Dan Reed Network, the genre bending funk rock legends from Portland, Oregon, USA have signed to Roulette Media Records for their new forthcoming album release ‘Let’s Hear It For The King’.
UK rock label Roulette Media Records have taken 2020 by the horns to buck the industry trend and expand their roster with new artist signings and recruit an impressive team of industry experts.
Dan Reed says “I am truly excited and honoured to announce DRN will be joining forces with Roulette Media for the release of our next Dan Reed Network album, ‘Let’s Hear It For The King.
Continues Dan, “We believe this record to be our heaviest, funkiest and most melodic DRN album to date while keeping with our tradition of trying to deliver a strong message of unity through welcoming our differences instead of fearing them
In 2021, Dan Reed Network will break existing concepts of how to create and release content to the world in a way that will challenge the industry just like they did in 1987 with the release of their eponymous debut album.
Back then, they challenged social conception by looking past race, style and created a sound and entity that reached and spoke to millions of people. Now that those principles are the accepted norm, it’s time for DRN to challenge people on a whole new level.
Vivanne Leonard MD of Roulette Media Records says; “Dan Reed Network are very much a band on the rise who match our ambitious plans at Roulette Media for the near future with what will be revealed as an innovative way forward.
There are plans for a daring approach for releasing music videos in a new format and a feature length documentary on the way. We believe this band is so hot and I can’t tell you how excited we are to be working with them.
Dan Reed Network will tour the UK and mainland Europe in February and March 2022. The highly anticipated tour will see the band co headline with Reckless Love hitting venues such as London’s Electric Ballroom, Nottingham Rock City and Manchester Academy 2.
Dan Continues. When speaking with the team at RM it was evident that they had a great vision and attitude toward releasing music and film in what is a continuously evolving industry, which we have faith will help our new album reach further around the globe while still paying tribute to the countries who have been there with us from day one.
RM’s wide reaching view of the arts and it’s creative approach to how to navigate the music business is inspiring.
It was also very heartening to hear their take on the world and their approach to sustainability, something that all the members of DRN and those who support the band are passionate about.
