An AOR Christmas song! And it’s stunning!
There are few Xmas songs that really think out of the box, constantly talking of Santa and love but this is a beautifully crafted piece of work from Lionheart.
The overall sound of the track is punchy and thick. The production is everything we love when it comes to that 80s bombastic sound ! Layer upon layer the texture is excellent and that vocal on top from Small is pure awesomeness.
Obviously, the core of the song is one of religion and the true meaning behind Christmas but it’s done so tastefully you could listen to this track all year round. The guitar work and tones are outstanding and the we all know I love vocal harmonies and they floored me. The ooooh the ahhhs the double ups ….wow wow wow ! Keep them coming.
It’s one things to release a good song but to keep doing time and time again and these guys do just that! Added to my playlist and a massive thumbs up
