Review by Paul Monkhouse for MPM

There are few bands around today as incendiary or as exciting as Millie Manders and The Shutup and this new single is a fine example of their stock in trade high energy ska punk.

Fierce, challenging and brutally honest, this is a wake-up call to treat the earth and everything in it with respect that shows a determination that is borne from caring hearts.

In the style of some of the finest protest songs from the past fifty years, this is something you can dance to whilst dodging any over earnest beard stroking intellectualism.

Whilst Manders and Co care deeply about these issues, there is never a hectoring, self-righteous tone to what they do and their focus in having a great time whilst making a difference has been one of the cornerstones of their appeal.

Put it on, turn it up, leap around and make your world a better place.
