I just love it when I expect something and upon listening its completely the opposite.

There is a simplicity and invigorating execution of this track with elements of rock, soul and pop infused into one. There are no frills and no musical ego coming through, its just a strong track that screams radio friendliness.

Lyrically it is quite intellectual, which I am always drawn to. Ben’s voice is not the best or worst I have heard but he plays to his strengths and one of those is a clear and precise delivery. I really like singers that you can understand, and he has nice qualities to his diction.

The instrumentation is also good, not OTT but what it needs to be, some drums parts really stealing the show for me and a safe, but still enjoyable guitar break!

Overall, it’s a cool track with all the elements of what a catchy rock/pop song should be. Did it set my world on fire? NO, but I enjoyed it and look forward to hearing more from these guys and there is something in Ben’s vocal is really enjoy!

The production is well done, and the mix is spot on for my ears. All instruments are clear and come together nicely.

I would be surprised if this does not enjoy a lot of airplay as it has all hallmarks of a radio tune!

Excited to see what comes next from RAINBREAKERS!
