Hollywood Rock Royalty’ L.A Guns can claim to be in that elite bands that can say those words.
Along with Motly Crue, Quiet Riot, Guns n’ Roses, the label is apt especially when they can still put out new material which harks back to those days without sounding dated.
Their new album, ‘RENEGADES’ came out back in November and hit our ears with catchy tunes and some L.A Guns well oiled riffs and hooks.
‘You Can’t Walk Away’ is the latest single to be released from the album. The vocal is the star on this ballad with clarity throughout sitting above the melody and understated riffs.
With the style we are accustomed too from the band, as the song progresses it opens up into key changes and layers of guitars making a very enjoyable track.
This is a song written 35 years ago but given some freshness with a new chorus and a few tweaks it is easy on the ears and lyrics which through the simplicity of the chorus just don’t leave your brain.
A good track from an excellent album.
