Review by Paul Monkhouse for MPM

There is something dark stirring in the underworld of the beautiful Italian city of Turin. Something dangerous. Something thrilling. The Blacklava live here.

Reaching out with sinewy tendrils that threaten to ensnare you and drag you into their lair, latest single ‘Eden’ is a crawling, venomous creature. The guitar of Francesco Priolo spitting fire as Karlo Loglisci’s vocals go from a seductive croon to a scream, Marco Stillavato and Diego Petrino underpinning it all with a bone deep groove.

This isn’t some shadowy spectre though, more a fully formed glistening life force that will lift you up before tearing you into two with its laser focussed traditional hard rock with a very new twist.

Gloriously sleazy, modern and electric, this is the jolt of rock ‘n’ roll excitement you’ve been looking for.
