Review by Paul Monkhouse for MPM

This is a full-on righteous riot, perfectly aimed and executed, brilliantly on the nose. Delilah Bon (a.k.a. Hands Off Gretel’s Lauren Tate) brings all her sass and fury to bear on the ever present subject of the toxicity of macho attitudes and the vital need for women to feel empowered to combat this.

The lyrics are a rallying cry to stand up and never be put down, fantastically powerful and also uplifting as they redress the balance that has so often tipped the other way.

Mixing a rock attitude with rapped lyrics and a cutting edge dance tip, this is an anthem for our times and one that can be enjoyed by all but those stuck in some outdated patriarchy.

Regardless of your gender, you can get behind the sentiment but it’s especially perfect to celebrate ‘International Women’s Day’ and to push things forward for the future. Let’s make some noise.
