Review by Paul Monkhouse for MPM

The driving lead track from her critically acclaimed ‘4801 South Indiana Avenue’ album, ‘Destination’ is a firecracker of earthy and adrenaline-soaked slide guitar blues.

From the opening shot of Connor’s hot pink boots onwards, it’s an absolute riot of thrills and excitement as she tears up the place, her playing both quicksilver and full of feel, her voice an equally electrifying instrument on its own.

Capturing all that’s best about the Chicago Queen of the Blues, producers Joe Bonamassa and Josh Smith bring her fiery playing and attitude to the fore and leave scorch marks along the highway.

For too long Connor’s talent has gone unnoticed by a lot of the world but this is a game changer and should see her rightly finding her place in the hearts and on the lips of a huge global audience. Simply brilliant.
