CROWNE have been described as a ‘supergroup’. Quite frankly, this is a massive understatement.

Why? Because Crowne are made up of the explosive talents of vocalist Alexander Strandell (Art Nation), guitarist/keyboardist/ producer Jona Tee (H.E.A.T), bassist John Levén (Europe) and drummer Christian Lundqvist (The Poodles).

They have blasted onto the Swedish hard rock scene with their debut single, ‘Mad World’ and when you open your ears to this track, I think you will agree that ‘stratospheric’ is more appropriate description.

The terms, Swedish or Nordic melodic hard rock, leads to a certain expectation of the style and ‘Mad World’ does not disappoint. Strandell’s vocals are just sublime and the bass provided by the amazing John Levén, hits you in the face, while the riffage creates a myriad of sound and intricacies to make you sit up and pay attention. You cannot escape the drums powering the whole way through and you can be sure that Christian works up a sweat, bringing ‘Mad World’ to a roaring powerhouse of a track, destined for huge success.

Crowne’s debut single, Mad World, will leave you wanting more – the ultimate result. Their answer to this, is their forthcoming album (untitled), scheduled for release this summer. A real treat to look forward to. Bring it on!
