Review by Paul Monkhouse for MPM

Since releasing their debut album, ‘We Fly Free’, in November last year husband and wife duo Grace and Aaron Bond have seen their own brand of soulful Delta Blues reach rapidly growing numbers of new fans hooked by their natural style and killer songwriting.

‘Walking on the Wire’ highlights the natural way the pair both sing and play together, the vocals and slide work equally dazzling.

There is a real grit here in Aaron’s vocals that complement the forceful yet honeyed tones of Grace, both powerful and colourful in their own ways and adding it all into the mix with the deft fretwork and swinging groove you get something very good indeed.

Authentic and full of drive, this single brings them another big step closer to being crowned the King and Queen of the UK blues scene.
