Review by Paul Monkhouse for MPM

Twisted Illusion have been causing waves since first forming in 2014, the Manchester metal monsters bringing their own brand of classic rock influenced thunder to the globe.

Led by the inimitable Matt Jones on vocals and guitar, the band bring this great blast of old school 80’s heavy metal that has echoes of some of those much loved bands who graced the stage at the height of the Monsters of Rock festivals.

With a massive hook, big guitars, glistening keys and a pounding rhythm section all underpinning Jones full-blooded rock n roll delivery, this takes off like a rocket and doesn’t slow to take a breath.

With a tasty re-recording of their debut album on the horizon, there’s never been a better time to get twisted.
