There’s a visceral thrill that comes from hearing Lzzy Hale at full tilt that is both exhilarating and bowel looseningly overwhelming.
The sheer fact that one body can contain that much power is something that’s hard to take in but in ‘Back From The Head’ she and the band give free rein to the wildest sides of their nature and this explosive new track is the outcome.
An immense sonic assault that’s packed with ferocity and melody, vocals, guitars, drums and bass work together in a turbo charged machine that eviscerates as it goes, tearing anyone and anything to shreds that’s in its path.
With a suitably unsettling video accompanying the song, this once more proves that Halestorm are unstoppable.
