Ahead of a sold-out show at The Patriot – in the heart of the Welsh valleys – the two extraordinary talents of vocalists Dan Byrne and Kira Mac take time to have a chat with Metal Planet Music’s Gary Spiller.

Taking the first steps since parting ways with Revival Black Dan looks forward, with much hope and expectancy, to 2023.

A rapidly developing partnership with the highly experienced Myke Gray is blossoming and Dan talks about new material that they’re writing and performing together. His hopes and aspirations are covered with respectful reflection upon his career thus far. Hitting the road supporting Kira Mac is the first step upon a new chapter for this humble and sincere gent; a talent that possesses a voice that can part the very heavens.

Beforehand, the equally gifted Kira Mac chats over a pre-gig cuppa across a wide range of matters. From first picking up a guitar to causing Will-i-am to rapidly turn on The Voice.

This is a band that has seemingly exploded from out of nowhere with a stellar performance at this year’s Steelhouse festival. However, there’s much more than meets the eye and Kira takes us through some of the events that came to create the phenomenon that is Kira Mac. Celebrating the release of one of the best albums of 2022 with a maxed out tour the future has much to look forward to.
