Virgin Idol has released a screaming new single from their upcoming release, ‘Murderess.’ The song is titled ‘Bondage.
This follows only 8 months after the release of their self-titled debut album. To the potential dismay of some fans of their first album – in the style of sleazy traditional heavy metal – this new single is a full-on thrash metal attack! Do not be discouraged, as vocalist JR Preston has kept with his original vocal style, much in the style of King Diamond with a hint of Ozzy in lower registers.
With this said, the band has very much maintained their own sound. However, the production is absolutely phenomenal, to say the least.
Think late 80’s Laaz Rockit, Exodus, Forbidden, Exodus, Testament, and others within the same vein. Virgin Idol have truly brought their own twist to modern metal music and continue to take the world of underground heavy metal by storm.

“We really have no influences for this release or for this single. I tried to avoid metal at all costs in my casual listening and stuck to rather obscure Avant-garde music, jazz, and other styles of music that I enjoy.
