For close to 40 years the intense passion of Blaze Bayley has graced stages worldwide. From forming Wolfsbane in 1984 to a broadly successful solo career via fronting Iron Maiden in a five year long tenure Blaze has hit the highs and lows of a rock n’ roll career.

Evergreen and ever-popular Blaze candidly chats about a wide range of subjects including the return of Wolfsbane later in the year with their ‘Tough As Steel’ tour and how guitarist Jase Edwards is recovering following his diagnosis of multiple myeloma.

Reflecting upon supporting Iron Maiden on the Tailgunner Tour in 1990 Blaze discusses the missed opportunities of what should have been a massive momentum boost for Wolfsbane before looking back at his time in ‘The World’s largest heavy metal band.” During his 20 minutes chatting to MPM’s Gary Spiller a wide breadth of subjects is covered with his pride at being an established independent artist shining brightly.

Blaze illuminates upon 2021’s ‘War Within Me’ album and especially his scientific trio and the stories behind why he turned his keen eye and pen upon them. The affable Brummie also expresses his love of playing live and the loyalty of his fans who remain steadfast in their support. Something which runs deep to Blaze’s core and is reflected in his desire to ensure that every fan is ‘meet and greeted.’ A true rock n’ roll troubadour.
