Long-running San Diego/Temecula punk band Strike Twelve has released a new music video for “Not A Phase” off the trio’s recent album ‘Last Band Standing’ – out now on Thousand Islands Records.
The band says, “”Not a Phase” is the opening track on our newest full-length “Last Band Standing,” which was released June 30, 2023 on Thousand Islands Records.
The music video is a compilation of archived videos, photos and flyers from our 20+ years as a band. It was painstakingly pieced together by the one and only Felony Ron of @Felony Films / Felony Records.
We joke around that when people like our wives first met us, they thought the band was a temporary phase. Now, decades later, we’re still going strong. While being in a band has great potential to be disruptive to the rest our lives, it is in fact the glue that holds us together.”

Danny B, Matty T and Joey T of So-Cal punk rock band Strike Twelve have been playing live at your local dive since 2003. Whether they’re first or last in the lineup, they will undoubtedly be the band having the most fun.
They love what they do and they love doing it with each other, which is why all three members have stuck with the band since the beginning.
With an unmatched chemistry that can only be developed with twenty years of friendship, it’s safe to say that this isn’t just a phase.
Their new album Last Band Standing will be out in summer 2023 on Montreal-based Thousand Islands Records, and hopefully it will help to take their excellent adventure to the international stage.
