The biggest event dedicated to hard rock and heavy metal in our country, Barcelona Rock Fest, will be held next June 30, July 1 and 2, 2022 at the Parc de Can Zam in Santa Coloma de Gramenet (Barcelona).
More than 40 bands will form the spectacular poster for a festival that will bring hard sounds to the front line over three unrepeatable days featuring some of the most influential bands in hard rock history.
The poster will be headed by KISS’ farewell tour, who are saying goodbye to the stages after a lavish career of nearly fifty years.
The greatest show on earth will land at Can Zam for what will be their last show in Barcelona featuring all the classics that forged the band’s legend led by Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, founders of the band.
For his part, JUDAS PRIEST will perform at the festival with an expected concert within their tour “50 Heavy Metal Years” with which they celebrate five decades of pure heavy metal in a unique concert in Spain.
The blunt MANOWAR will be another of the most prominent attractions, eight years after their last concert in Spain.
The group, faithful defenders of heavy metal and its idiocy, will bring their drum of genre classics to one of the world’s most dedicated audiences in a unique show and awaited by their hordes of fans.
The shock rock of influencer Alice Cooper, father of all that is theatrical rock on a stage, will be another of the great additions to the festival’s poster in what will be an unforgettable night filled with guillotines, vodeville and great anthem Timeless s that have won a spot for own right in the collective imaginary rock.
One of the great fathers of thrash metal, MEGADETH and the Danish kings of the most evil heavy metal, MERCYFUL FATE, are also joining the party with two exclusive concerts at Barcelona Rock Fest that magnify one of the most solid posters of the whole country.
There will also be the symphonic metal of Finnish NIGHTWISH, DROPKICK MURPHYS’ endless party, the perennial anthems of BLIND GUARDIAN or the class and vintage of SAXON.
The poster is complete with 33 additional bands ranging from JINJER’s rabidly current metal, MYRATH experimentation, or SYMPHONY X’s progressive aura to classic heavy metal from ACCEPT or the final farewell to UFO stages.
