On Friday 28th January Scarlet Rebels launched their new lp ‘See Through Blue’ with a special launch show at Hangar 18, Swansea.
With a tour, scheduled to coincide with the release of the album, postponed until later in the year the teams at Hangar 18 and Midnight Tornado Promotions were determined to pull a rabbit out of the hat to ensure that release day was a memorable one.
The Rebels have fought bravely in the face of adversity losing a major tour, pre-Christmas, supporting label-mates Buckcherry and then being hit with the aforementioned album tour postponement but undeterred the Rebels are on the very brink of hitting the Top 40 UK Album Charts this coming week.
Following a fantastic 90-minute long set Rebels’ frontman Wayne Doyle sat down to chat with MPM’s Gary Spiller.
As a bonus, the whole show was live-streamed by Area SA1 in a brand new venture from Hangar 18 and here’s the link for the recording of this (actual footage starts at about the one hour ten minutes mark).
