The Hot Damn! and These Wicked Rivers have announced a 5 date UK mini tour, kicking off on 24th February at The Pub in Lancaster and culminating at Planet Rock Winter’s End.
They’ll be taking in the sights of Lancaster, Newcastle, Cannock, Milton Keynes and Leamington Spa on their travels, bringing a unique blend of tie-dye chaos (The Hot Damn!) and vintage rock n roll (These Wicked Rivers) with them.
The dates follow on from the explosive success of The Hot Damn‘s second single ‘I Didn’t Like You Anyway’ which has wormed it’s way onto the airwaves across the UK with Planet Rock, Kerrang! radio and BBC introducing all showing the track major support. These Wicked Rivers will be using the shows as an opportunity to show off some new material from their forthcoming second album, the follow up to 2020’s critically acclaimed ‘Eden’.
Gill Montgomery (singer, guitarist in The Hot Damn!) comments:
“We are SUPER stoked to be splitting the sexiest bill this side of Omicron. Having shared the stage together in recent times, our beautiful bearded brothers are sure to bring nothing but soulful swagger to our colourful chaos and we can’t wait!”
Arran Day (lead guitarist, These Wicked Rivers) adds:
“We’re really excited to be going out on the road with The Hot Damn!. We worked really hard last year to make sure that every time we played to new people we wouldn’t be forgotten, this involved a lot of tight trousers, daily hat repairs and carrying several living room lamps from the 60s around the country but we loved every second of it.
Our next goal is to go back to the places we’ve played and keep surprising people. If you’ve not seen us before, imagine your nan’s living room but with 5 bearded man in it playing rock and roll.
