Releasing 11 albums since they formed in 1991, Polish extreme metal gods Behemoth are preparing us for their 12th album, ‘Opvs Contra Natvram’ which is due to surface early September.
‘Opvs Contra Natvram’ is suggested to be their strongest and most sophisticated creation to date. Produced by Behemoth and mixed by Joe Barresi, this is their most ambitious and evolutionized music, offering new inventions and constructing a sound that hasn’t been touched upon.
It is inspired by the embodiment of rebellion, individual and unflinching self-expression, shaped by a literary worldview.
In conjunction with their upcoming album, there have been numerous single releases and Behemoth is proud to present their latest offering, ‘The Deathless Sun’.
This track accompanies two videos, one being so shocking, the group had to create a whole new video to run coherently with it.
They waste zero time and dive straight in with their magic as the vocals instantly erupt, they are as extreme and ferocious as they get.
The aggression behind the lyrics leaks through with utter passion, every single word is meant. The overall flow is utter chaos and full of destruction, whilst the guitars are adding more intensity as they take their position.
Amplifying the whole sound is the drums and the weight behind them, they hold many twists and turns into the battering mixture. The layering and elements of the symphonics sit behind the music, making it feel more expressive, more dynamic and face melting.
