Review by Paul Monkhouse for MPM

After the 80’s retro rock stylings of 2018’s ‘Simulation Theory’, Muse have come tearing back with this, one of their most feral tracks to date.

With its giant and propulsive riff and the locomotive power of Chris Wolstenholme’ bass and Dominic Howard’s drums, Matt Bellamy roars and soars, the pent up rage and vitriol turned into flesh stripping sonic waves.

Remorseless and relentless, it’s a blistering assault on the senses but still manages to cling to the central melody and finesse that others may throw aside in their pursuit to obliterate.

This, though, blends a crushing weight with a surgical precision to devasting effect and is a giant-slaying killer of a shot from forthcoming ninth album ‘Will of the People’.

Prepare to have your house and will destroyed. Resistance is futile.
