Interview by Paul Monkhouse for MPM
Best known as the frontman for Terrorvision, Tony Wright lives to be creative, something that is so ingrained into his soul you get the feeling it’s as vital as breathing to him.
From his roles with the Bradford rockers, being a member of Laika Dog, his solo career, numerous television appearances or running his own print work and coffee shop, there’s always some outlet for his passion.
Having the global pandemic slamming the brakes on a lot of his activities, or at least causing some pauses, he turned his attention onto writing and recording his third solo outing ‘The Anti Album’ and it’s a rich, multi-textured journey that features some of his rawest and most inspiring and intriguing work yet.

Proceeded by the singles ‘Buried You Deeper’ and ‘Cannonball’, the ten-track release takes the listener on a musical and emotional journey that’s full of a beautiful fragility, shot through with moments of darkness.
With the album due out on the 7th of October and with an accompanying nineteen date tour starting that day in Settle and ending on November 11th in Oxford, we caught up with the troubadour to delve a little deeper and hear about this latest chapter in his fascinating and ever busy career.
