Just when you thought they couldn’t get any better, HAWXX have just gone and released what could be THE single of the year.
The Worst Thing’ is full of the usual elements of brutal power, style and righteous venom but added some of the biggest hooks you’ll ever hear, the single being something that will bury itself into your brain and never leave.
With a chorus that soars and the furious fretwork of Hannah Staphnill, Jessica Dann’s drums and Julia Cadau’s bass that have the power of a runaway locomotive and the powerful vocals and guitar of Anna ZP, the whole adds up to something extraordinary that conversely both crushes and lifts.
Capping of what has been an extraordinary year for the quartet and with the prospect of an even bigger 2023 that includes their first appearance at Download, HAWXX are unstoppable and ‘The Worst Thing’ is another huge move forward in their inevitable climb to the top.
The most exciting band on the scene are about to go supernova.
