Papa Roach has announced the release of EGO TRIP DIGITAL DELUXE EDITION, and the long-awaited release date for EGO TRIP Standard Edition on Vinyl.

The twenty-track digital deluxe release features remixed versions of songs from the original record, as well as new music. The band also launched a new version of “Cut The Line” featuring Beartooth which is already on 1.2 million streams. Listen here. The original version of EGO TRIP currently clocks up over 157 million streams.

The pre-order is now live for the long-awaited EGO TRIP Vinyl LP, in its second edition after it was initially available for November’s Black Friday Record Store Day.

The worldwide release features the Standard 14-track album in unique packaging with a pop-up EGO TRIP roller coaster inside the gatefold, amusement park map, and 140g vinyl LP in Opaque Black, “Translucent Purple” for Indie Retailers, “Strawberry Shortcake” available via the band’s merchandise store, and “Yellow & Black Swirl” exclusively on tour, the latter two variants including a special 7” featuring two acoustic tracks. “Strawberry Shortcake” is available now for preorder at www.paparoach.com

This album has been a journey for us – from recording the album in 2020 to having two #1 hit singles last year to adding one of our favorite bands BEARTOOTH to this track, all for the first time on our own label. These songs rip and we’re stoked to get them out there. It’s been one hell of an EGO TRIP! See what I did there!?” – Jacoby Shaddix

The band are currently on the second leg of their Rockzilla Tour in the USA which takes in stops at 21 cities, the majority of which are SOLD OUT or low on tickets.

In the next couple of months Papa Roach have a string of UK dates with Don Broco and Dance Gavin Dance (the London date at Alexandra Palace is already sold out), the co-headline “Cut My Heart Into Pieces” Australian trek with The Used, followed by Summer Festival appearances in Europe with more to be announced. After two years of work and nearly 10 months of building up excitement with their fans, Papa Roach recently celebrated the release of their eleventh studio album EGO TRIP. An album that sprouted almost by mistake in the throes of a global lockdown, its seeds were planted when the quartet entered a COVID-secure mansion in Temecula, California in the summer of 2020.

What started as an escape and an exercise in keeping the creative juices flowing, in a world that had completely ground to a halt, quickly grew into something bigger. Purposeful, provocative, and just the right side of the line between confident and cocky (“I really hope [the album title] stops a few people in their tracks” laughs frontman Jacoby Shaddix), EGO TRIP is Papa Roach – completed by guitarist Jerry Horton, bassist Tobin Esperance, and drummer Tony Palermo – at its boldest and most brilliant.

Papa Roach are two-time GRAMMY-nominated, Platinum-selling leaders in Alternative Hard Rock music, who in 2020 celebrated the 20th Anniversary of their iconic album“INFEST”. 20 years into their career, the band continues to have global success.
