The promoters of the WinterStorm rock weekender have announced today that hard rockers Tyketto will return to the 2023 ‘Legends and Legacies’ event.
The band last appeared at WinterStorm in 2017.
Formed in the US in the late 80’s, Tyketto had significant success with their debut album ‘Don’t Come Easy’ and have subsequently performed on some of the biggest stages across the world over the last three decades. Tyketto will appear on the main stage in Troon on Saturday 25 November.
The main stage is not the only place to see new line up additions as a further four bands have also been added to the Sessions Stage. Brazilian rockers Electric Gypsy and Noturnall, Night Demon from California and old school blues rockers The Penetrations are all set to appear at the established event this year.
The latter are very fitting for WinterStorm having been an Ayrshire blues rock institution since the 70’s – they will perform a blues and metal fuelled set in Troon.

An international thread runs through the WinterStorm line up as German guitar legends Michael Schenker (ex-UFO and Scorpions) and Uli Jon Roth (also ex-Scorpions), US rockers Hardline, Dutch prog rockers Focus, Australian youngster Cassidy Paris and German New Wave Of Classic Rock band The New Roses are also all on the bill. They’re joined by the likes of Bernie Marsden, Massive Wagons and Mason Hill who are part of a huge line up of over 35 acts performing across four days.
Event founder, Ian McCaig said “We always planned for our Legends and Legacies event to be bigger and better than ever and we are thrilled to add Tyketto to the line up this year. Many people remember their incredible performance on the Troon stage back in 2017 and I’m sure we’re in for a treat when Danny Vaughn and the band return in November.“
