In the fall 2023 Europe and the UK will see a death metal extravaganza tour on the road that will feature a one of its kind event. Finnish Winter Metal Act WOLFHEART will be on their first headline tour.

As if that in itself wasn’t enough, the week trek will feature reunited fellow Finland death metal household name BEFORE THE DAWN. This will a special highlight as it will be a rare opportunity to see mastermind Tuomas Saukkonnen playing two sets a night, combining past and present as he will be taking things into the future. KING OF THE NORTH TOUR will leave minds blown and jaws dropped! This exciting package will also feature Texas based melodic death HINAYANA in its ranks.
Finnish frontrunners WOLFHEART have proven themselves to be one of metal’s most captivating acts of northern heritage and one of the fastest rising bands in the international melodic death metal scene. Prior tot he release of their latest record King oft he North in September 2022, the band’s previous full-length album Wolves of Karelia (2020) and Skull Soldiers EP (2021) had gained massive praise from fans and press alike with their icy tales of battle and triumph.

The new album picks up right where WOLFHEART left off – taking every aspect of their trademark sound of colossal melodies, growling vocals and driving drum rhythms to searing new levels. Each song on King Of The North is dedicated to a different story of Finnish mythology – underlined by WOLFHEART’s grand, crushing songwriting and production. King Of The North is a true masterpiece of melodic death metal, crafted with loads of attention to detail – showcasing WOLFHEART at never before heard artistic levels!

 was founded in the late 90s. The band released six full length albums and toured the world, building a big following before ending its activies In 2013. That was when Tuomas Saukkonen createed his his new project WOLFHEART who he has released six albums with by now.

During the pandemic, BEFORE THE DAWN re-released their 2006 “Deadlight” album and while on the occasion, wrote a brand new song. The album opened #1 in Finnish album chart, and and a huge boost of motivation and creativity followed. Their Spotify has grown with tens of thousands of followers and hundred thousands of monthly plays with no promotion, no label working for, no social media marketing or constant posting.

After being dead for almost a decade BEFORE THE DAWN is stronger and bigger than ever. Instead of riding on the wave of nostalgia, the band are looking far into the future and pick things up where they left 2013 with a reinforced line-up that id ready jump onto festival stages and tour busses. “Downhearted” was the first single and BEFORE THE DAWN is currently in the studio recording a new album scheduled to come out in early summer 2023 through Napalm Records.
HINAYANA is a hard-hitting melodic death/doom metal band from the heart of Texas combining dark, brooding riffs with soaring melodic passages of guitars and keys to create their unique, aggressive, and emotive sound. The band is often compared to some of the finest acts in melodic metal with their take on the genre. Rising from the south with their highly-praised 2020 EP “Death of the Cosmic” released via Napalm Records, HINAYANA is now preparing to release a brand new full-length album.
