Legendary space rockers Hawkwind return to the Royal Albert Hall this Friday 29th September for an evening of Sonic Destruction.
The band are pleased to announce they will be joined onstage by very special guest William Orbit.
After years of exploring parallel universes of reality, these two galactic forces are about to align for the very first time.
William says: “The first LP I ever bought at a record store was ‘In Search of Space’. I had two dreams at age 14; to meet Jimi Hendrix, and to be on a stage with Hawkwind. Well Jimi died, but here I am about to fulfil dream number two!!! Feeling very cosmic at the moment.”
Hawkwind are celebrating the Rituals and Odysseys of Space on the 50th anniversary of their acclaimed Space Ritual album.
They’ll also be joined for this psychedelic extravaganza, by very special guests, The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown.
To coincide with this special event Cherry Red are delighted to announce the release of a deluxe 50th anniversary edition of Hawkwind’s legendary live album Space Ritual.
Available as a super-deluxe 10CD/Blu-ray limited edition boxset, double transparent vinyl or 2CD edition, this is the definitive edition of a classic album containing previously unreleased material from the Space Ritual tour.
