Giovannie and The Hired Guns from Lipan, Texas.

With a sound blending “early 2000s pop-punk… hints of country music and a healthy dose of Tejano rock” (Rolling Stone), Giovannie and The Hired Guns have a big sound made for the stage.

The Tejano punk boys will make their European debut kicking off in Berlin, Nov 28 and playing The Camden Assembly Dec 4th and finishing up in Manchester’s Deaf Institute, Dec 5th (see full Giovannie and The Hired Guns dates below).

The last few years have established Giovannie and The Hired Guns as an emerging force across genres. Fronted by Mexican-American lead singer / guitarist Giovannie Yanez, the band includes Carlos Villa (guitar), Jerrod Flusche (guitar), Alex Trejo (bass, tuba) and Milton Toles (drums).

Named one of Amazon Music’s 2022 Artists to Watch, Giovannie and The Hired Guns have engaged audiences across North America with an electrifying live show.

Next month will see them on a co-headlining with Black Stone Cherry, before making their European debut to close out the year on the aptly titled Tejano Punk Boyz Tour.

Today they’re inviting fans to join the amped-up party with the release of Tejano Punk Boyz Live (listen HERE).

The mammoth, 20-track album highlights the live show that has made Giovannie and The Hired Guns a prominent touring act across Texas and beyond. The band recorded Tejano Punk Boyz Live at the historic Gruene Hall in New Braunfels, TX.

The studio version of Tejano Punk Boyz earned widespread praise as a high-octane collection with what Whiskey Riff declared “honest and revealing” lyricism.

The record produced the band’s first No. 1 single on the Billboard Rock & Alternative Airplay chart with “Ramon Alaya.” The smash, which has earned more than 43 million streams, also landed in the Top 10 on the year-end Mainstream Rock Airplay Songs chart.

The success of Tejano Punk Boyz led the band to be named Best New Artist (Rock & Alternative) at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
