The UK’s own Southern Rockers, Sons Of Liberty will TODAY release their new single ‘Light The Fuse’ , accompanied by a stunning comic book lyric video; produced by Andy Pilkington (Very Metal Art), who has also been commissioned to produce all of the album and single artwork.
‘The Detail Is In The Devil’ album will be self-released Friday 23rd February 2024. The album is available to pre-order now from www.sonsofliberty.bigcartel.com. The album has been produced / mixed by Josiah J Manning [Kris Barras Band], and recorded at Momentum Studios.

Support on all headline dates will come from The Mike Ross Band. Tickets for the shows available here: www.sonsoflibertyband.com/shows
The band said of the new single, “‘Light The Fuse’ is a straight up belter of a rock song with huge catchy choruses, that has already earned it a place in the new live set. It’s about going beyond that limit, the little guy in all of us, who you really don’t want to push over the edge.
We’ve all had to bite our lips and suck it up at some point, and we’ve probably all said ‘enough is enough! I’ve had enough of being pushed around’ and the sparks will fly!”.
This is the first album to feature Russ Grimmett fronting the band. He has been welcomed with open arms by fans on the live circuit – the band have a freshness and drive that will see them lifted to the next level. Sons of Liberty are Russ Grimmett, Fred Hale and Andy Muse (Guitars), Mark Thomas (Bass) and Steve Byrne (Drums).
Their first album ‘Animism’ dropped in 2020, and the follow up ‘Aces & Eights’ landed the following year. The band have already performed with acts like Preacher Stone, FM, Grand Slam and Molly Hatchet, Sons Of Liberty can hold their own on any stage.
Emerging Rock Bands said of the album, “From a raucous opening right the way through to an overly satisfying ending, Sons of Liberty are back with a belter made up of eleven tracks of pure rock delight… It is an album to make you feel invincible”. Sons of Liberty themselves describe ‘The Detail Is In The Devil’ as “forever music”, and it’s hard to disagree.
