Review by Paul Monkhouse for MPM

Already a huge hit in America days after its release, ‘Six Feet Deep’ was born to be blasted out of every radio in the land, its chorus sung at full volume by countless thousands all the way from Alaska down to Florida.

Labelled ‘Punktry’, Royale Lynn brings roots music together with metal and sprinkles it with some pop hooks and sensibilities, all to addictive effect and this new single points the way to her filling stadiums within the next five years.

With it’s mass crossover appeal and irresistible drive, Lynn’s sweet vocals are peppered with real grit and attitude, the guitar, drums and bass bringing a sledgehammer punch to something that will stay in your head for days.

A star is most certainly born and there’s nothing guilty about this particular pleasure. Listen to it now, but be prepared to be singing it for the next few months.
